立春Born in January or February 2000?
In the popular calendar, the 2000 zodiac year began with Chinese New Year on February 5, 2000. Anyone born from January 1 to February 4, 2000 belongs to the previous year, the Earth Rabbit. BaZi (Four Pillars) astrology changes the year at Lichun, the start of spring, which fell on February 4, 2000 at about 20:36 Beijing time. That was before New Year, so if you were born after Lichun on February 4 and before February 5, 2000, BaZi already counts you as a Metal Dragon while the popular calendar still says Earth Rabbit.
